Selling/Transferring your License
You may sell your SignMaster Cut
license to a third party under the
EULA. This requires you to hand
over all SignMaster Cut Materials in your possession including the
Product Serial Number (PSN) to the purchaser. However, you must
be the registered license holder and have no outstanding debts
or liabilities with us.
Note: You cannot assign, transfer or sell Academic, Beta, Demo
(try-out), Subscription, Student and Teacher, Site Licenses or any individual
copies from a package of Licensed Copies i.e. License Packs.
Buying a Licensed Copy
It is ultimately the Buyer's Responsibility to ensure that what
they are buying is actually a licensed copy of SignMaster Cut.
There are 2 items a Buyer must obtain from the Seller:
1. A Product Serial Number (PSN) - which
is a 20 digit number,
and;
2. Installation Disc(s) - usually a Program DVD
The Seller should also provide the Buyer
with the Disc cover (case) and the User Guide, though
these aren't mandatory. Note: technically the Buyer does not
require the Installation Disc(s) as these may be purchased
separately (if available) and so long as the license is validly
transferred from Seller to Buyer.
Notice of Resale
If you meet all the conditions under the
EULA and wish to sell your
license to a third party you must formally advise us of the
purchaser's details and they must accept the terms and
conditions of the
EULA. This can be done online
by filling in a
Resale Advice.
What if the Seller fails to give notice?
Under this circumstance and until the Seller formally notifies us, we
cannot discuss anything about or pertaining to the software
license with the party it has allegedly been sold to.
I bought SignMaster Cut but am having problems with the Seller?
Unfortunately, until the Seller formally notifies us, you
cannot under the terms of the
EULA become the licensee since the Seller remains the
registered licensee i.e. Two unrelated parties cannot possess
the same license simultaneously. However, if you obtain an order
from a court of competent jurisdiction we will
ordinarily accept this as evidence of a lawful transfer of
license.
